The Adventures of EE-OO and Casy * Las aventuras de EE-OO y Casy is a fun-filled read for the kids over summer break. One can go on an adventure in a far-away place and learn about cultural differences, friendship, and acceptance when a friend moves on. All told from a shared perspective between a human and a beloved dog. There is a Q& A session at the end of the book to stimulate thought processes. The book has chapters in both English and Spanish.

Great first chapter book for young readers

What a fun first chapter book for young children, particularly those in bilingual households, or in bilingual classroom settings! It is a wonderful story on the joy that bringing home a rescue dog can give to a family. The addition of questions at the end of the book is a way to get kids really involved with the story in an active way. As a former homeschooling mom, I really appreciated that aspect.

Heartwarming!

Forever Friends is a heartwarming story! My kids loved Jazz the elephant and Casy the Golden Retriever. Their adventures and the beautiful illustrations make this book special. It’s a wonderful tale about friendship and empathy. A lovely read for our family!
